Van scrapping made simple

Whether it's a worn-out work van, a non-runner that's been sitting in the yard, or a van that's failed its MOT, we'll take it off your hands. Revva is a licensed vehicle recycling centre in Chatteris, and we collect vans of every size across Peterborough, Cambridgeshire and the surrounding areas.

Vans are usually heavier than cars, so they're often worth more in scrap. Enter your registration and we'll look up the van's details for you. Answer a few quick questions about its condition, and your price appears straight away.

Every van we collect goes to our own yard, where it's depolluted and recycled properly. We notify the DVLA and issue your Certificate of Destruction, so you're no longer responsible for it.

Scrap van questions

What size vans do you scrap?

Any size. We take small vans like the Transit Connect and Berlingo, medium vans like the Transit Custom and Transporter, large vans like the Transit, Sprinter and Crafter, and Lutons, tippers and dropsides.

Is my van worth more than a car in scrap?

Often, yes. Vans are heavier than most cars, and most of a scrap vehicle's value is in its metal. The price also depends on age, make, today's metal prices and whether anything is missing. Enter your registration for an instant quote.

Can you collect a van that doesn't start?

Yes. We collect non-running, MOT-failed, SORN and accident-damaged vans. Tell us in the quote form whether it starts and drives, so we send the right truck.

The van is registered to my business. Can I still scrap it?

Yes. Let us know when you book and we'll tell you what we need to see on collection. Payment is by bank transfer, so it can go to the business account.

Do I need to empty the van first?

Yes, please remove tools, stock, racking you want to keep and any personal belongings before collection. Leave the van otherwise complete, as missing parts like the engine or wheels lower the price.

How will I be paid?

By secure bank transfer (BACS). Under the Scrap Metal Dealers Act 2013, licensed scrap dealers can't pay cash for scrap vehicles.

Ready to sell your scrap car?

Fast, secure BACS payment. We issue official Certificates of Destruction (COD).
